(english version) Creation of an automation system for the Russian State Library: The project aimed at supporting the modernisation of the Russian State Library from a traditional library to a digital library, introducing new information technology which meets the growing information needs of the Russian market and brings to life the vast resources of this national library. It ran from 1998-2000 and contributed to improving Russian and international users’ access to the resources of the Library, which are of great value to scholarly and research communities. |
